It’s the 4th of July! For many of us, enjoying fireworks is a major way we celebrate our nation’s birthday.
However, the safest way to enjoy fireworks is to watch licensed professionals do them. But if you’re planning on doing them yourself, here are a few firework safety tips.
- Have a bucket of water, hose, and/or a fire extinguisher on hand
- Never light fireworks indoors
- Never hold a lighted firework in your hands
- Do not relight spent or malfunctioned fireworks
