Navigator Emergency Services is a non-profit organization that uses drones to help with search and rescue, disaster relief, and other emergency situations. We are always looking for qualified drone pilots to join our team of volunteers. While we are hoping to be able to offset costs and provide public safety drones, right now, this is strictly a volunteer position.

Qualifications

To be a drone pilot volunteer, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Be able to pass a background check
  • Have a current FAA Part 107 drone license
  • Have a drone that is equipped with a high-definition camera and a live video feed
  • Be able to fly your drone safely and within FAA regulations
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Be able to respond to emergency calls at a moment’s notice
