About Us

Navigator Emergency Services is a nonprofit 501(c3) organization dedicated to providing specialized emergency response services, community health education programs, and wilderness medical and survival skills instruction. Our work is funded through grants, private donations, and revenue generating activities.

Educational Services

Our CPR For Everyone program seeks to provide free to low-cost CPR/AED, First Aid, and Stop The Bleed training in communities in Michigan that have been as a Designated Health Professional Shortage Area. In 2020, these counties included Isabella, Mecosta, Schoolcraft, Oscoda, among many others. Contact us if you would like to partner with us or or host a one or two-day class.

CPR, First Aid, and Stop The Bleed courses can be taught to corporations and other organizations who are seeking to give their employees potentially life-saving skills. Contact us for a group quote and scheduling availability.

Wilderness medicine and survival classes can help trip leaders, guides, camp staff, search and rescue team members, become comfortable providing care to those in the field. Our classes include wilderness first aid, rope rescue awareness, basic survival skills, and more.

Response Services

Our response component is to make EMT and rope rescue resources available to communities and agencies that are facing threats of wildfires, hurricanes, and other disasters.

Community Events

Who doesn’t like to go for a hike? We’ll be hosting a number of community events over the course of the year. This could be a group hike in a local (Grand Rapids) park area, or a more involved adventure with our partners over at Pack & Paddle Expedition Co.
